This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on www.vionnutrition.com (the “Website”), what they are for, how long they last and how you can change your mind at any time. It complements our Privacy Policy and our Legal Notice.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. We also use similar technologies (local storage, pixels and tags) that work the same way and are covered by this policy.

2. Your choice comes first

Except for the cookies that are strictly necessary to run the shop, nothing is loaded until you accept it. When you first visit, a banner asks for your consent by category. Until you choose, no analytics or advertising technology runs.

You can change or withdraw your consent whenever you want: open the cookie banner’s “Manage preferences” and save your new choices. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was lawfully processed before.

3. Categories we use

3.1 Strictly necessary

Needed for the site to work: keeping your cart, your session, the checkout, security and load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. They do not require consent because without them the shop cannot function.

• Shopify (our ecommerce platform, acting as our processor): _secure_session_id, cart, cart_sig, _shopify_m, _cmp_a, keep_alive, secure_customer_sig. Duration: from the length of your visit up to 1 year.
• Consent record: stores which categories you accepted, so we do not ask again on every page. Duration: up to 1 year.

3.2 Analytics

Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Only set if you accept the “Analytics” category.

• Shopify analytics: _shopify_y, _shopify_s, _shopify_sa_t, _shopify_sa_p. Visit statistics and traffic sources. Duration: from the visit up to 1 year.
• PostHog (PostHog Inc., data hosted in the European Union): ph_phc_*_posthog. Product analytics, page views, interaction events and session recording of your navigation on this website, with form fields masked. Duration: up to 1 year.

3.3 Marketing and advertising

Used to measure our campaigns and show relevant ads on other platforms. Only set if you accept the “Marketing” category.

• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel: _fbp, fr. Measures the result of our advertising and lets us show ads to people who visited the site. Duration: up to 3 months (_fbp) and 3 months (fr).

3.4 Functional and third-party features

• Judge.me: product reviews shown on the store. Sets identifiers needed to display and submit reviews.
• A/B testing: lets us show two versions of a page and compare them. Stores which version you were shown so it stays consistent during your visit.

4. Who receives the data

The providers named above process data on our behalf as processors, except Meta, which acts as an independent or joint controller for advertising purposes under its own terms. Some of them may transfer data outside the European Economic Area; in that case the transfer relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. 5. How to block cookies in your browser

Besides our banner, every browser lets you block or delete cookies: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Blocking the strictly necessary ones may stop the shop from working.

6. Changes
